What we do at ISCA Dental

We offer the highest standards of dental care to all our patients, and we firmly believe that prevention is best. If we can save you from the necessity of future treatment and expense with a little advice early on then we see that as a vital part of our role. We can improve the way you look by using modern cosmetic treatments to maximise your smile. We accept referrals for oral surgery and cosmetic dental work from other dental practices, including implants, crown and bridge-work, veneers and tooth-whitening. We have close links with a specialist denture laboratory to help those who are experiencing problems with a denture.

How we do it

The first consultation with your dentist is free of charge and gives you time to discuss all of your dental requirements with the help of a smile questionnaire. (If you need to have radiographs on this appointment there will be a charge). You will be given a written treatment plan including costs. We expect you to pay promptly for your treatment as anything we do for you will incur costs to us from suppliers and laboratories. We take all major debit/credit cards. If you’re struggling to pay it all in one go, have a word with us and we can arrange to stage payments over the course of your treatment. Once you are ‘dentally fit’ you will be offered the option of joining our monthly payment scheme – Denplan. If you are a member of Denplan your children will be seen at no extra charge. You can also be seen here as a private, or pay-as-you-go patient.

Whatever you decide, we do try to encourage regular attendance to keep your teeth sparkling and your dental treatment to a minimum.

The Importance of Dental Health

Despite dental health being of paramount importance, it is estimated that 50% of the population do not regularly attend a dental practice. Patients who visit infrequently, eventually end up require more extensive and therefore costly treatment than those who attend regularly

Appointments and Emergencies

We are open from 8:00 am on weekdays and lunch-time appointments are also available.

We aim to provide same-day appointments for emergencies provided that you ring us before 10.30am.

On weekends and bank holidays, we provide emergency appointments.

Our reception desk is open from 8:00am until 4:00pm on weekdays.
You can join our SMS text reminder service for free and receive a text message the day preceding your appointment.
​In order to provide the excellent emergency cover which we pride ourselves on. We request that you give us at least 24 hours notice, if you need to cancel an appointment.

Disabled Facilities: The practice is located on the ground floor, therefore access is readily available for all patients.

Confidentiality: Strict confidentiality of patients records and information is maintained at all times. Patient records will not be passed onto any third parties, without the patient’s express permission.
